AsiaInfo Services 12-18-2006 Dell to Purchase Founder PC Business BEIJING, Dec 18, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- A source from the Internet shows that Dell Inc. is discussing with Founder Technology Group Corp. about purchasing Founder's PC business. However, the information raised a lot of doubts. The transaction price is reportedly at USD 800 million.
After the deal, Founder Group Corp. will still control Founder Technology Group Corp., and Dell will take 23% market share of PC in China and will sell the products directly or distribute the products.
