AsiaInfo Services 12-19-2006 China Unicom Saw Fast Growth in CDMA Mobile Phones BEIJING, Dec 19, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China's electronic information industry enjoyed a fast development in the first ten months of 2006, sharply growing 29.6%, according to the latest news from China's Ministry of Information Industry. China Unicom becomes the most outstanding one among the domestic telecommunication carriers for its doubled CDMA sales during this period. China Unicom also revealed that the sales of its two-mode-two-board CDMA mobile phones, which are focus on high-end markets, has amounted to 1 million units with a total trading volume of more than CNY 3 billion.
