CHINA MOBILE TO LEAD 2ND ROUND TD TEST

AsiaInfo Services 01-10-2007 China Mobile to Lead 2nd Round TD Test BEIJING, Jan 10, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Mobile Communications Corporation, the largest mobile phone operator in China, would play a leading role in the second round test of TD network operation. Chinese government has approved China Mobile, China Telecom and China Netcom to undertake the testing of TD standards.
China Mobile has built test network in Xiamen of fujian province; China Telecom in Baoding of Hebei province and Shanghai; China Netcom in Qingdao and Beijing. The first round TD test in basic sound operation has been carried on for two months and proved to be excellent. The second round test, which will begin in March 2007, will focus on data business.
