AsiaInfo Services 03-01-2007 China Becoming More Important for Microsoft BEIJING, Mar 01, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- MSN China, a Chinese-language web portal launched by the US's software giant Microsoft to tap deeper into the world's second-largest Internet market, are now under the direct management of the Seattle-headquartered Microsoft, revealed insiders. The news was confirmed on February 27 by Feng Guangshun, spokesman of MSN China. According to Feng, MSN China, including Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, will report its financial condition as well as the operating situation to Microsoft directly rather than reporting to Microsoft's Asia-Pacific Regional headquarters.
