AsiaInfo Services 03-07-2007 Kawasaki Shipbuilding Expanding in China NANTONG, Mar 07, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Kawasaki Shipbuilding Corporation, a Japanese shipmaker under the aegis of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd., is expanding in China in a bid to strengthen its comprehensive competitiveness, said a source on March 5. It invests JPY 30 billion to drive up the production capacity of Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd.
(NACKS), a 50-50 joint venture in the eastern Chinese province between Jiangsu between Kawasaki Shipbuilding Corporation and China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company.
