AsiaInfo Services 03-12-2007 Huawei Forms Strategic Alliance with Hon Hai, D-Link SHENZHEN, Mar 12, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China's leading communications solution provider Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. sets up strategic partnership with Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. and D-Link Corporation, two pilot Taiwan-based network equipment manufacturers. Huawei will buy CPE (customer premises equipment) from Foxconn Electronics Inc., a subsidiary of Hon Hai, and will purchase components and switches from D-Link. Huawei that mainly operates its businesses in China mainland has gradually expanded its reaches to overseas market in recent years, and it is expected to achieve a two-digit growth in 2007, said one general manager at Taiwan Huawei Technologies.
