AsiaInfo Services 03-13-2007 Beijing Unicom to Launch One-way Charging Scheme BEIJING, Mar 13, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Unicom's Beijing Branch will carry on one-way charging scheme on Up-power, one of its businesses while aims at youths, in order to combat with its rival China Mobile. From March 13 on, subscribers of Up-power, a service of China Unicom, can apply for one-way charging package, which cost less than previous one.

Price of local outgoing call will be adjusted downward to CNY 0.2 per minute from CNY 0.25 per minute; users can set five long distance numbers for relatives or friends, price of which will adjusted downward to CNY 0.2 per minute from CNY 0.25 per minute; other long distance outgoings, after adding preferential IP prefix 17911,...
