AsiaInfo Services 03-20-2007 Nokia to Work on NFC Application in China SHANGHAI, Mar 20, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The world-renowned mobile phone tycoon Nokia is bullish on the development of NFC (Near Field Communication) in China, striving to remain dominant in the nation's handset market. Nokia will finish its first trial of mobile authentication solutions in the Chinese commercial hub Shanghai.
In the project, the cellphone maker will put the NFC technology into anti-fake cellphones to look over such products as fireworks and firecrackers. Formerly, it developed the mobile payment system that adopted the very NFC technology as well.
