AsiaInfo Services 03-21-2007 Huawei Obtains 3G Order from TIM SHENZHEN, Mar 21, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Shenzhen-based HuaweiTechnologies, a world's leading telecom equipment vendor,won the bid for 3G project from Telecom Italia Mobile, a mobile telecom business arm of Telecom Italia Group, which is the tenth largest telecom operator in the world,based on the reliable information. This is another order from the European leading operator after the one from Vodafone, the world's largest mobile telecom operator, to let Huawei build its HSDPA network in Spain, largely due to Huawei's distributed base station technology.
