61.7% OF BAIDU.JP USERS COME FROM CHINA

AsiaInfo Services 03-27-2007 61.7% of Baidu.jp Users Come from China BEIJING, Mar 27, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The leading Chinese Internet search company Baidu.com, Inc. has launched Baidu.jp, the Japanese search engine online, but over 60 percent of users come from China and those from Japan account for one third of total users. Alexa, the authoritative traffic recording website worldwide, releases that 61.7 percent of the engine users are in China and 33.3 percent are in Japan.
The rest of such users are from US, Hong Kong and Singapore. The traffic of Baidu.jp ranks No. 2,171 in Japan and that ranks No. 2,408 in China, according to Alexa. Baidu.com management showed they will not add pay-per-click advertisements to the Japanese search engine...
