AsiaInfo Services 04-05-2007 The9 Wins FIFA Operating Right in China, Rumors Said SHANGHAI, Apr 05, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The9 Limited. (Nasdaq: NCTY), a leading online game operator in China, is rumored to have won the operating right of FIFA online in China from Electronic Arts (EA), and is expected to post associated details in the near future, said insiders.
But The9 spokesman declined to commend on the news directly. Insiders tell that The9 has engaged in talks with EA for more than six months. And the two have reached intention of cooperation recently, and will probably signing the associated agreement in the not-too-long future.
