AsiaInfo Services 04-12-2007 Baidu Disputes over Domain Name in Japan BEIJING, Apr 12, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Baidu.jp, the Japnese version website of China's largest search engine Baidu.com, has started operation in Japan since last month. However, the Chinese Internet giant found another similar domain name, www.baidu.co.jpbaidu.co.jp, which is operated by a Japanese company. The web, providing services that have nothing to do with the Chinese company's businesses, offers four links ranging from machinery import to second-hand automobiles, from truism to industrial wasters.
