AsiaInfo Services 04-16-2007 Hyundai to Make Coupe Sports Car in China BEIJING, Apr 16, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Hyundai Motor Company, one of the world's largest automakers in South Korea, will manufacture Coupe, a sports car model, in its Beijing-based venture at the end of 2008. Coupe is a small sports car model of Hyundai Motor.
It saw a sales volume of over 10,000 units in China in 2006, which accounted for more than 50% of the company's export to China. The model is aimed to to increase the portion the South Korean auto giant holds in China. Related agreement has been signed.
