AsiaInfo Services 04-25-2007 China Mobile Mulls Expansion to Africa and Southeast Asia BEIJING, Apr 25, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Mobile, one of the world's largest mobile telecom carriers, plans to gear up expansion in overseas market via merger and acquisition, as most of its new users that are living in the Chinese rural areas with lower consumption. "We are interested in Southeast Asia and Africa", said China Mobile CEO Wang Jianzhou in Hainan Province on April 22.
