AsiaInfo Services 05-04-2007 China Unicom H-share Generated CNY2.831bn of Profits Q1 SHANGHAI, May 04, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- During the first fiscal quarter of 2007, China Unicom (SHSE: 600050) got CNY 1.172 billion of net profits, surging 42.4% year on year; earnings per share of the company hit CNY 0.055, rising 42.4% as well. The mobile telecom giant operator is simultaneously traded in Shanghai, Hong Kong and New York. From January to March this year, H shares of China Unicom witnessed CNY 24.199 billion of revenues, slightly rising 3.97% over the same period of last year.
