AsiaInfo Services 05-16-2007 KFC to Open 300 Stores in China Each Year BEIJING, May 16, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken), one of the world's largest fast food restaurant chains, owns and operates more than 1,700 KFC-branded stores in China currently. The US-based fast food giant plans to open at least 300 stores in the country each year in the future, said a senior KFC executive at a press conference held to celebrate the 20th anniversary ceremony of KFC's entry into the Chinese market in the country's largest municipality Chongqing days ago.
