AsiaInfo Services 05-17-2007 Chinese Car Output Broke 3mn in Jan.-Apr. 07 BEIJING, May 17, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The production and sales of Chinese cars reached 3.0096 million units and 2.9336 million units during the first four months of 2007, surging by 21.36% and 21.46% year on year respectively. Chinese automakers produced 2.1245 million passenger cars and sold 2.0842 million such cars during the four months with a rise of 20.65% and 20.71% year on year respectively. The commercial cars production and sales were 885,100 units and 849,400 units, a rise of 23.10% and 23.36% year on year respectively.
