AsiaInfo Services 05-22-2007 Microsoft to Upgrade Hotmail in China BEIJING, May 22, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Microsoft Corp., the world's largest software developer, announced that it plans to upgrade its mailbox product Hotmail to Windows Live Hotmail in China in an effort to grab more shares. The project, as the most significant upgrading work the company launched after the release of Hotmail since July 1996, will cost as much as several hundreds millions of US dollars, revealed a senior executive of the US-based software giant. Storage of Hotmail will still be 2G as before after upgrading, added the executive.
Considering that the upgraded storage of Hotmail cannot well satisfy people's continuously creasing need, Microsoft plans to roll out 4G...
