AsiaInfo Services 05-25-2007 China Resources Enterprise Not to Split Beer Arm for Listing HONG KONG, May 25, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Resources Enterprise, Limited (0291, HK) is not inclined to split off its beer business for listing, said its vice managing director Kuang Wenqian who hopes the sales of the beer to surpass 20% to 25% in 2007. The company lost HKD 32 million in beverage business in the first quarter of this year, but its sales of beer still hailed a year-on-year jump of 43.4% to 1.167 million kiloliters. The sales of the company's snow beer hit 824,000 kilometers, taking 70.6% of its total sales and soaring 96.2% over a year earlier, showed its latest quarterly report released on May 24.
