AsiaInfo Services 05-28-2007 Lenovo's Net Profit Rose 630% in 06 BEIJING, May 28, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Lenovo (SEHK: 0992)'s net profit boosted 630% to USD 161 million, or USD 0.0187 per share. Its operating revenue rose 9.9% to USD 14.59 billion, according to its performance report for the first fiscal quarter ended on March 31. In the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2006, the PC magnate achieved net profit of USD 60 million, turning losses to profits.
It lost USD 116 million in the same period of fiscal year 2005. Its operating profit reached USD 195 million, up 74% from USD 112 million a year ago, while the operating expenditure dropped from USD 82.17 million to USD 9.52 million.
