(0302, HK) was ratified to set up a bank in Shenzhen, one of the most economically-vigorous cities of mainland China. The Hong Kong-listed lender has just gotten approvals from the China Banking Regulatory Commission, the nation's top-ranking watchdog in banking circle, an insider disclosed. Meanwhile, the bank with legal-person status will come to inauguration in June 2007, and will be the first foreign-invested bank with legal-person status that headquartered in Shenzhen.
