AsiaInfo Services 05-31-2007 Nokia, Tsinghua University to Create Asia Research Center BEIJING, May 31, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The global mobile phone giant Nokia co-announced with China's Tsinghua University a framework agreement on creation of a new research center in China so as to serve their long-term joint research projects. It is the first such the center in Asia after those Nokia co-establishes with well-known universities in the US, the UK and Finland. The research plan they rolled out first focuses on a couple of areas include Asia wireless communications and Internet development, Asia interactive solutions, multimedia communications equipment, and mobile Internet technology and hardware development.
