AsiaInfo Services 06-22-2007 Ericsson Gains Network-upgrading Order from China Unicom BEIJING, Jun 22, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Ericsson, a world-leading provider of telecommunication equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally, announced days ago that it has entered into an agreement with China's second largest mobile telecom operator China Unicom to upgrade G network to GPRS network in six provinces, a favorable order it gained after a USD 1 billion worth of order to upgrade network for China's largest mobile telecom operator China Mobile in 19 provinces and cities.
