AsiaInfo Services 06-26-2007 Nanjing Fiat to March into Foreign Markets NANJING, Jun 26, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Nanjing Fiat Inc., a venture of Fiat Group in Italy and Nanjing Automobile (Group) Corporation in East China, will probably export all lines of products to foreign markets, information from the company shows. The venture has started manufacturing 300 cars to export to Egypt as the first planned export.
There will be continuous orders from Egypt this year. Preparation for the export to Egypt started early in 2006. After local market analysis and a series of inspection, attestation and trial sales, the Fiat models that are made by Chinese manufacturers were chosen and formerly ordered and sold in the country.
