AsiaInfo Services 07-16-2007 Shanda to Support Homegrown Online Game Development SHANGHAI, Jul 16, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Shanda Interactive Entertainment Limited, the largest online game developer and operator in China, will take practical measures to support the development of China's homegrown online game industry, said Chen Tianqiao, director and chief executive officer of the Shanghai-based company. Besides granting as high as 20% dividends to backbone game developers, the company plans to spend at least CNY 100 million in purchasing high-quality online games from others.
