AsiaInfo Services 07-20-2007 Shanghai Industrial Holdings to Raise HKD3bn for Acquisitions SHANGHAI, Jul 20, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Shanghai Industrial Holdings Limited (SIHL and SEHK: 0363), is to raise about HKD 3 billion by selling 96.9 million shares at a price of HKD 31.2 apiece, the company said in a statement on July 17. Proceeds from the share sale will be used for the possible acquisitions for infrastructure facilities and real estate projects.

More details to the acquisitions are still unavailable. However, an executive for the Hong Kong-listed company did not deny the possibility that SIHL would expand its core businesses via the acquisitions for infrastructure facilities.
