AsiaInfo Services 07-24-2007 UTStarcom to Deploy IPTV Network in Ningxia NINGXIA, Jul 24, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- UTStarcom, Inc., a global leader in providing IP-based networking solutions and services, announced that it has won a bid from China's largest fixed-line telecom operator China Telecom to deploy its RollingStream end-to-end IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) solutions for a new commercial IPTV network in Northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. According to the agreement, the Nasdaq-traded company will provide a whole set of RollingStream solution, including the streaming servers and set-top boxes, to the project.
