AsiaInfo Services 07-24-2007 China Unicom Attracts 1.537mn New Users in June BEIJING, Jul 24, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Unicom Limited, the nation's second largest mobile telecom operator after China Mobile, said its newly-added users in June 2007 amounted to 1.537 million, down 3.3% compared to 1.59 million of the previous month. In June, the company's new GSM network subscribers reached 1.133 million, lifting its new GSM users for the first half of this year to 6.697 million. Its new CDMA network users were only 404,000, declining 10.4% from the previous month but enhancing the accumulative CDMA users added in the first six months of this year to 2.569 million.
