AsiaInfo Services 08-28-2007 Voith Siemens Won CNY1.2bn Power Station Order SICHUAN, Aug 28, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Voith Siemens Hydro Power Generation Co., Ltd., a Germany-based hydroelectric equipment provider, says its Shanghai subsidiary has obtained a CNY 1.2 billion contract to provide project equipments for Sichuan Jinping Second Stage Power Station. The deal signals the start of the overall development of the Yalong River, the fourth national hydropower base. Jinping Power Station lies in the Dahewan Region of Yalong River, with its installed capacity reaching 8.4 million kilowatts, including the first and second stage.
