AsiaInfo Services 08-31-2007 Nokia and Cgogo to Launch Local Search Jointly BEIJING, Aug 31, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Nokia and the globally noted wireless search service provider Cgogo Co., Ltd. jointly announced that they had made an agreement about cellular "local search". Developed by Cgogo, this new model will be put in all Nokia-branded smart mobile phones based on the Series 60 Platform. Mobile phone users are able to get the information on sales and promotions from local and across-region dealers, search locations, map search, download service, and public information covering banks, parks, post offices, and railroad stations. It is for the second time that Nokia cooperates with an IT company in terminal service.
