AsiaInfo Services 09-03-2007 Great Wall Tech, Seagate Technology Deny Acquisition BEIJING, Sep 03, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Great Wall Technology Company Ltd. (SEHK: 0074) denied its acquisition of Seagate Technology, the World's largest hard disk company, announced its subsidiary company Shenzhen Great Wall Kaifa Technology Co., Ltd.
(SZSE: 000021). Besides, Seagate Technology also contradicted the rumor and announced that it never received any offers from Chinese companies, reported the foreign media. The company has not intended to sell itself till now. The uncertain source was revealed by William Watkins, the CEO of Seagate Technology.
