(SEHK: 2727) intends to sell a 50.23% stake in Shanghai Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 600841), one of its list arms, to Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (Group). Shanghai Automotive is not a main customer of Shanghai Diesel Engine.
The latter primarily provides engines for commercial vehicles like load carriers and passenger cars. Shanghai Diesel Engine has been looking for investors for a long time.
