YUCAIPA TO BUYS INTO XINHUA FINANCE MEDIA

AsiaInfo Services 09-28-2007 Yucaipa to Buys into Xinhua Finance Media BEIJING, Sep 28, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Xinhua Finance Media Limited (NASDAQ: XFML), a subsidiary of Xinhua Finance Limited, announced on September 26 that US investment firm Yucaipa Cos. had agreed to buy a stake in the company. The company said that the shares Yucaipa plans to acquire would mainly come from the company's investors whose shares were no longer bound by an IPO lock-up period. As part of the deal, David Olson, partner of Yucaipa, will join the Chinese advertising company's board as an independent director.
