AsiaInfo Services 10-15-2007 Chinalco Won Over CNY50bn Credit Line BEIJING, Oct 15, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Construction Bank Corporation (SEHK: 0939) and Bank of China Ltd. (SEHK: 3988) recently granted a credit line of CNY 28 billion and CNY 24.8 billion to Aluminum Corporation of China (Chinalco), respectively. So far, Chinalco has joined hands with Industrial & Commercial Bank of China (SHSE: 601398; SEHK: 1398), Agricultural Bank of China, China Construction Bank, and Bank of China, gaining a total credit line of approaching CNY 100 billion. The company plans to turn into a global multi-metal company, with a view to increasing its international presence, said Lv Youqing, vice general manager of Chinalco.
