AsiaInfo Services 10-19-2007 Schneider Electric Creates New Venture with Delixi WENZHOU, Oct 19, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Two electric giants, China's Delixi Group Co., Ltd. and France-based Schneider Electric (Euronext: SCHN) are to set up a new joint venture in Wenzhou, eastern coastal Zhejiang Province. The two parties have gained approval from the Ministry of Commerce.
Named Delixi Electric, the 50% to 50% venture will be engaged in the manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of low voltage electric products. While selling products under the Delixi brand in China, it will not copy Delixi's operation model. Meanwhile, Schneider's unique business model will be introduced to other objective countries.
