AsiaInfo Services 10-30-2007 China Retail IT Market May Exceed USD1bn by 2011 BEIJING, Oct 30, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China's retail IT market stood at CNY 4.42 billion, or USD 552 million, in 2006, according to the latest statistics released by market research firm IDC. The figure is expected to hit CNY 8.25 billion, or USD 1.029 billion, by 2011, with a compound growth of 13.3% per year.
IDC said in a statement that Chinese retail IT solutions providers, who try their utmost to well satisfy the needs of local clients by launching high-quality and low-priced products, have established a strong foothold in the domestic retail IT market.
