AsiaInfo Services 11-02-2007 SMIC Q3 Sales Revenue Rose 6.1% SHANGHAI, Nov 02, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC and NYSE: SMI, SEHK: 0981), one of the leading semiconductor foundries in the world, reached a sales revenue of USD 391.4 million in the third quarter of 2007, according to a report. Sales revenue over the period rose 6.1% year on year, a 4.4 percent increase from the second quarter; net loss reached USD 25.6 million, a USD 10.4 million decline from the period a year earlier, though adverse excursion overran the USD 2.1 million in the second quarter.
