AsiaInfo Services 11-02-2007 Bluestar Mulls New Acquisition Offer for Nufarm BEIJING, Nov 02, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China National Bluestar (Group) Corporation, a chemicals producer wholly owned by China National Chemical Corporation (ChemChina), is proposing a new offer to acquire Nufarm Ltd.

(AX: NUF) with US buyout company Blackstone Group. Nufarm declined their first joint offer at AUD 17.10 per share a few weeks ago, when its stock price was around AUD 14. The new offer is lower than AUD 20 a share, disclosed by an informed person. Nufarm's stock was stirred by the news of the new offer and its trading has been suspended.
