AsiaInfo Services 11-13-2007 Unlicensed ASUSTeK Eee PCs Sold in Chinese Market BEIJING, Nov 13, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Eee personal computers of ASUSTeK Computer Inc. was scheduled to come into the market in Mainland China on November 22, 2007, yet some unlicensed products have stolen the march to hit the market via online stores currently. Those products are available on the taobao.com, china's largest consumer to consumer business platform, most of which are featured with 4GB or 8GB storage.
The highest price for those computers is quoted at CNY 4,550 each. The vendors said the products they imported from Taiwan are good in quality. An executive for ASUSTek's business in the mainland said the company had not announced its distributors in the mainland...
