AsiaInfo Services 11-20-2007 China 2007 CPI to Hit 4.5%, Morgan Stanley Says BEIJING, Nov 20, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China's 2007 Consumer Price Index (CPI) will reach 4.5 percent in view of the expectation on rising inflation and fast lending. Moreover, the CPI for 2008 will maintain at 4 percent due to the possible gaining oil price and money supply next year, according to a research report by Morgan Stanley Asia. The People's Bank of China, the country's central bank, took positive measures in curbing the inflation.
