AsiaInfo Services 11-21-2007 China Steel Products Facing Anti-Subsidy Tariffs BEIJING, Nov 21, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- More tariffs are imposed on Chinese steel products exported abroad. In end-October 2007, the European Union threatened that it would file anti-dumping complaints to the European Commission against China-made steel products.

In early-November, the US Department of Commerce preliminarily determined that it would impose anti-subsidy tariffs on circular welded steel pipes imported from China. Then, on November 9, Canada Border Service Agency did the same to seamless steel oil and gas well casing originally made in China. Most anti-subsidy evidences held by the foreign countries are China's export rebate, according to the China WTO Academy....
