SVA INFORMATION REGAINS STAKE IN SPDB

AsiaInfo Services 11-27-2007 SVA Information Regains Stake in SPDB SHANGHAI, Nov 27, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- SVA Information Industry Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 600637) on November 23 obtained the 10.925373 million shares in Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (SPDB, SHSE: 600000) and bonus generated from such a stake. According to an announcement released by SVA Information, the company was the surety for the deal that the clearing center of Shanghai SVA Group in February 2000 provided CNY 36 million non-interest nominal loans for Tongchuang, a company located in Shanghai. Tongchuang used the capital to buy eight million shares SVA Information held in SPDB.
