AsiaInfo Services 11-30-2007 US DOC Made Preliminary Finding on Chinese Pipe & Tube BEIJING, Nov 30, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The US Department of Commerce (DOC) issued a notice on November 28, 2007, determining an anti-subsidy preliminary finding on the light-walled rectangular pipe and tube made in China. Chinese producers are commonly applied a 2.99% countervailing duty (CVD).
The highest is 77.85% for Qingdao Xiangxing Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., and the lowest is for Kunshan Lets Win Steel Machinery Co., Ltd., 0.27%. The US DOC will make a final determination on the investigation on April 7, 2008. Then, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) will form its ultimate finding, and issue the anti-subsidy measure on May 29 the same year. On November...
