AsiaInfo Services 11-30-2007 Shenyang Aircraft Corp. to Make Cessna 162 SkyCatcher SHENYANG, Nov 30, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Shenyang Aircraft Corporation, a subsidiary of China Aviation Industry Corporation I (AVIC I), signed an agreement with the world's largest manufacturer of general aviation aircrafts Cessna Aircraft Company on November 28, 2007. Under the agreement, US-based Cessna will give support in design and quality assurance of Cessna 162 SkyCatcher (light sport aircraft).
The Shenyang-based company will take charge of the manufacturing, final assembly and flight-test of the aircraft. Cessna 162 SkyCatcher is an all-metal, single engine piston, and high-wing monoplane with a two-person seating capacity including the pilot for flight training...
