AsiaInfo Services 12-12-2007 Yicha.com Tops in China Mobile Search Market SHANGHAI, Dec 12, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Yicha.cn ranked first among the mobile search providers with a 57.1% share in the Chinese market with the name of "frequent used mobile search engine", according to a recent report about China's mobile search from Iresearch Cousulting Group, a market data company based in Shanghai. Google and Baidu, the largest Chinese-language Internet search engine, ranked second and third with market shares of 31.5% and 25%, respectively.
The next three companies on the list were Cgogo.com with a 10.6% market share, uucun.cn 9.0%, and minfo.com 2.8%. Yicha.cn, which officially launched its mobile search service in July 2004, has gained over 20 million...
