LUFTHANSA TO OPEN ROUTES TO NANJING AND SHENYANG IN 2008

AsiaInfo Services 12-13-2007 Lufthansa to Open Routes to Nanjing and Shenyang in 2008 BEIJING, Dec 13, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Deutsche Lufthansa AG, the largest airline in Germany, announced on December 11, 2007 that it would open the Frankfort-Nanjing route on March 31, 2008 and the Shenyang-Seoul-Munich route on June 8, 2008. The German air carrier will adopt A340-300 airliners with total 221 seats in first-class, business and economical cabins on the two routes to Chinese cities.

Five planes will fly from Nanjing to Frankfort every week and three will leave Shenyang for Munich. Lufthansa, the busiest airline company on the routes between Asia-Pacific Region and Europe, has provided non-stop flights to Chinese cities including Hong Kong, Beijing,...
