AsiaInfo Services 12-13-2007 Hainan Airlines to Buy Shares in China Merchants Securities SHANGHAI, Dec 13, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Hainan Airlines Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 600221) plans to buy about 29.77 million shares in China Merchants Securities Co., Ltd., according to an announcement by the Chinese airline company on December 12, 2007. The shares, which account for 0.9227% of the securities company's total capital stock, are now held by HNA Group, the shareholder of the listed airline.
They are to be sold at CNY 595 million or CNY 20 per share. In addition, the airline is considering purchase of a 39.14% stake or 284 million shares in Hebei International Trust & Investment Co., Ltd., from the hotel arm under HNA Group, for CNY 830 million or CNY 2.92...
