AsiaInfo Services 12-17-2007 Banks Lend CNY12.3bn for Two Projects in Fujian FUZHOU, Dec 17, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Two infrastructure projects in Fujian, a fast-developing province in Southeastern China, win syndicate bank loans of CNY 8.1 billion and CNY 4.2 billion, respectively. Fuzhou-Xiamen Railway that needs total investment of CNY 15.6 billion registers CNY 7.5 billion in capital, in which CNY 5.5 billion invested by the Ministry of Railway and CNY 2 billion by Fujian Province.
Led by the China Development Bank, six commercial banks like the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China CITIC Bank, and the Agricultural Bank of China jointly lend CNY 8.1 billion with a 20-year term. The bank loans are expected to help the railway complete...
