AsiaInfo Services 12-19-2007 Shanda to Launch Open Beta Test for New Game BEIJING, Dec 19, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Leading Chinese online game operator Shanda Interactive Entertainment Ltd. (Nasdaq: SNDA) said on December 18, 2007 that it would set off an open beta test for Disney Magicboard Online on December 21, 2007. The game is a multi-player online casual racing game with characteristics and stories in animations developed by The Walt Disney Company.
The two companies expect to launch the game in 2008. Shanda is responsible for the R&D, marketing and promotion of the game. Shanda entered into an agreement with Disney in May 2005 that it gained a license to use the characteristics and stories developed by Disney in the online game. The financial...
