AsiaInfo Services 12-20-2007 ABB Wins USD 440 Power Line Order in China BEIJING, Dec 20, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Switzerland-based engineering group ABB Ltd. (NYSE: ABB) said on December 18, 2007 that it won an order worth USD 440 million from State Grid Corporation of China on constructing a 2,000-kilometer-long power line in China. The n line will be used in the Xiangjiaba-Shanghai 800KV high-voltage DC transmission project, which transports electricity from Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station on the Jinsha River in Southwestern China to Shanghai.
